The Rambling Ponies with their
mainly acoustic instruments keep up to the tradition of the American
Country- & Blues- musicians, Folk- singers as well as Irish Pub-bands.
Therefore they play songs of "classics" such as
Robert Johnson, Jimmy Reed, Woody & Arlo Guthrie, The Dubliners, Kris Kristofferson
and John Denver, but also of "modern" songwriters such as Eric Clapton, Dwight Yoakham, Tracy Chapman
and U2.

In June 2004 the CD "Dusty Road" with own songs of the band
is brought out. From this time on these songs become more and more part of their programme.

A special trademark of the Rambling Ponies, apart from an individual
interpretation of each song is their excellent polyphone singing.

The Rambling Ponies are not a dance
band. Their gigs are mainly concerts in bars, clubs and pubs.Anyway,
we would be very pleased to supply your personal celebration or
private party with our music.
